Natick Youth Lacrosse Girls Travel Program

Welcome to the Natick Youth Lacrosse program! This program is dedicated to promoting the game of lacrosse for youth and high school students in the Town of Natick.

The program was founded in 1999 and is open to girls in grades 1-8. The program is a member of Founders Girls Lacrosse League.

Open Teams

Here’s a brief overview of what to expect:

  • Season:
    • Indoor practice sessions begin in late February or March.
    • Outdoor season begins at the beginning of April or when the town fields are open.
  • Games begin at the end of March/beginning of April on Sundays through early June, typically 8 games are played.
  • All teams are “travel teams” and play both home and away games.
  • Players are grouped by grade:
    • 8U: 1st and 2nd grade
    • 10U: 3rd and 4th grade
    • 12U: 5th and 6th grade
    • 1U4: 7th and 8th grade
  • There are typically 2 teams for each age group.
  • Team rosters are selected to evenly distribute skill and ability across each team and to promote development.
  • Practice times are announced closer to the start of the season. Typically, there will be two practices per week.
  • All teams within an individual age group practice together.
