Girls Select Program
The Natick Youth Lacrosse girls select program is an opportunity for girls in grades 5th through 8th to play lacrosse at a more competitive level against other towns in the area. The league keeps standings, has playoffs and a champion is crowned at the end of the season! Our program typically fields one 12U team (5th & 6th grades) and one 14U team (7th and 8th grades). Because this league is more competitive and we only field one team in each of these age groups, we hold tryouts and try to pull together the kids that give us the best chance of success based on their attitude, their effort and their lacrosse skills.
Please note that all players are required to play in the classic town league if they want to play on the select team.
For the upcoming 2024 spring select season, we plan to get started earlier than in the past with two official tryout sessions before the Christmas holidays. All players interested in trying out for the select team are welcome at these sessions and there is no cost for the tryouts. If your daughter is invited to the team after tryouts, you will be charged. This is in addition to the classic spring league.
Below are the details of this pre-season schedule. All practices and tryouts are being held at the Fieldhouse in Sudbury
Girls 12U Tryout Dates and Times:
Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 7 - 8 pm
Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 8 - 9 pm
Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 8 - 9 pm
Girls 14U Tryout Dates and Times:
Sunday, December 17, 2023 from 7 - 8 pm
Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 8 - 9 pm
Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 8 - 9 pm
You must register for select tryouts. There is no charge but all players must register.
