Natick Youth Lacrosse Boys Travel Program

Natick Youth Lacrosse Boys Travel Program

Welcome to the Natick Youth Lacrosse program! This program is dedicated to promoting the game of lacrosse for youth and high school students in the Town of Natick.

The program was founded in 1999 and is open to boys in grades 1-8. The program is a member of Mass Youth Lacrosse (MYL).

Here’s a brief overview of what you can expect:

  • The season typically starts with indoor sessions in late February or March. The outdoor season begins at the beginning of April or when the town fields are open.
  • Games begin during the first week of April and usually ends in early/mid June, commencing with a league-wide Jamboree at Fort Devens.
  • All of our teams are “travel teams” in that we play other towns both home and away.
  • We group players by grade:
    • U9: 1st and 2nd grade
    • U11: 3rd and 4th grade
    • U13: 5th and 6th grade
    • U15: 7th and 8th grade
  • There are typically 2 - 3 teams for each age group and for travel program, these teams are even-weighted
  • Practice times are announced closer to the start of the season. Once the town has opened the fields, typically there will be two practices per week for each age group. All teams within an individual age group practice together.

Registration for the spring season now open - more information about registration can be found on the registration page.

We believe that no child should be denied the chance to play due to financial reasons. To request a registration fee waiver, please contact the Boy’s Program Director, Paul Summers (paul.j.summers@gmail.com).

We’re excited to have you join us and experience the wonderful game of lacrosse!
