Boys Select Program
The Natick Youth Lacrosse Boys Select program is an opportunity for the most committed and advanced players in grades 5th through 8th to play lacrosse at a more competitive level together against other high-level teams
Equal playing time is not expected and teams play to win. The league keeps standings, has playoffs and a champion is crowned at the end of the season!
The Natick program typically fields one U13 team (5th & 6th grades) and one U15 team (7th and 8th grades).
Because this league is more competitive and we only field one team in each of these age groups, we hold tryouts and try to pull together the players that give us the best chance of success based on their attitude, their effort and their lacrosse skills.
Please note that all players are required to play in the classic town league if they want to play on the select team. Regular attendance at practices and Sunday classic/open games is expected.
2026 Boys Select Tryouts
For the upcoming 2026 spring select season, we will have one official tryout session in February. In addition, we are offering a select warm-up session in December to preview the tryout format and expectations. All experienced players interested in trying out for the select team are welcome at these sessions and there is no cost for the tryouts. If your son is invited to the team after tryouts, you will be charged. This is in addition to the classic spring league, which select players must be registered for.
Below are the details of the preseason schedule.
Select Warm-up Session: Sunday, December 7th, 2025, 7-8pm at Fieldhouse Sudbury (31 Union Ave, Sudbury). It is highly recommended that players who intend to tryout attend this session.
Tryout: Sunday, February 8th, 2026, 7-8pm at Fieldhouse Sudbury (31 Union Ave, Sudbury).
There is no charge but all players must register for tryouts.
